Martina Comuzzi
Martina Comuzzi grew up surrounded by music in Växjö, Sweden, playing piano and guitar from an early age. Her love of music continued into her teens when she started a rock band and went on to play shows around Sweden.
Playing music sparked an interest in guitar teching, and Martina went on to study at the Guitar Craft Academy at Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. She then worked as a luthier in Melbourne, Australia at Maton Guitars and Cole Clark Guitars.
Martina returned to Los Angeles in 2016 to study Music Business and Business Leadership at UCLA. She now works as the Music Licensing Manager at West One Music Group in LA where she services clients with music for their film & tv productions. Martina helps music supervisors find the perfect track for their projects, and also handles the ins and outs of music licensing. Her experience across several niches of the music industry give her a unique perspective and allow her to streamline a sometimes confusing process for her clients.
Martina is currently serving as an Industry Mentor at Musicians Institute for the 2021 winter semester, advising MI students about the music business.
