Jeremy Underwood

Jeremy Underwood is a Texas native and a graduate of Texas Tech. He trained at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, and has lived in Los Angeles working as an audio engineer since 2003. He started his career at Signet Sound (formerly Motown studios), working on film scores with such composers as Thomas Newman, Randy Newman, and Danny Elfman. Next, Jeremy moved on to Bay 7 Studios, where he worked with Producer Howard Benson and artists John Mayer, Chris Cornell, and Marilyn Manson, to name a few. While there, he received a gold and a platinum record. From there, Jeremy moved on to be the head engineer at Firehouse Studios in Pasadena. He worked on the Oscar nominated films: Whiplash, Lion, and Manchester by the Sea, as well as engineered for Lalah Hathaway on her multi Grammy award winning album “Lalah Hathaway Live”. Now, Jeremy is the House Audio Engineer for Sony Interactive Entertainment, recording dialogue for the motion capture stage, as well as the studio dialogue for numerous triple A titles.
